FILM~ Sophomore Year
A Lesson Learned
(Production II, Midterm)
Below are shots from A LESSON LEARNED, written and directed by me.

| Director of Photography (D.P.) Kimberly
Cocuzza and Assistant D.P. Agnes Varnum. |
Agnes, Producer/Actress Michelle Coppola
(with bloodlines to the other Coppola), Actor-and that day,
Gaffer- Garrett Murry, Editor/Actor Steve Ellison, and Actor
Brendon. | Kim,
Aggie, and I also wore many other hats on this project and Michelle is a
very hard working producer.
Try and Try Again
(Production II, Final)
This was Kim's baby from start to finish. She wrote, directed,
edited, and starred in it.

Left- Agnes as D.P. Right- Me with boom, taking a
break from acting (yeah, you heard me correctly! hahaha), and Kim
setting up a shot in which she's acting.

I Love To Smoke
(Post Production I)
The only original piece I was involved in, I didn't take any
pictures. As this is an editing class, three of the four works we put
together were of previously shot footage.
It's All Relative
(Jay "Bean" Procino's Senior
Thesis)
Bean plays all 4 main characters (identical brothers). On this
particular day (April 8, 2001), he needed Chad and I to be parole officers
and for Buff to be a regular police officer. I also got to do some camera
work.
We shot in Twombly Lounge, behind the mansion (the 3 pics below),
Convent Station, a few parking lots (inside Bean's car), and
outside/inside the Park Avenue Apartments. We then went out to Chi-Chi's
for dinner (because T.G.I. Friday's was closed).

My stint as a P.A. on Ron Howard's new movie, starring Russell
Crowe & Jennifer Connelly, while it was filming on campus. This has a

Another Professional
Production
As I was walking to my CORE II final the afternoon of May
14, I discovered another professional production was shooting on campus
outside the science building... The camera was set up on a track, filming
between trees. Didn't have time to stop and take pics because, as I said,
I was on my way to a final. Also on my way, I bumped into the Film Dept.
Chair and the future chair, both unaware that filming was taking place.
When I completed my final, I did go back out and take pictures but
nothing good. Michelle Coppola told me she had heard it was a commercial
that would air during the Winter Olympics.

A Very Special FDU
Presentation
Special footage shot by an FDU film major. This particular film
student thought it would be funny to follow around and shoot another
student. It turned out to be funnier than anyone could have ever
imagined...
With that said, I am not placing it on my site. I'm not having all
3 of my sites taken down due to someone perhaps thinking the material is
objectionable. The footage has already made its way around campus (that
was never the intentention as it was stolen from the camera man's computer
and published without permission) and can be found numerous places... I'll
provide the link to one such place, it will open in a new window & be
kept SEPERATE from my site...
Don't let that intimidate you though... If anything, it should be
making you think "It's that Good!?"... To which I'll reply, "Yes, it's the
funniest shit... especially if you know the subject." The piece had no
name, so I'll go ahead and call it What You Really
Learn at FDU: Click Here.
I suggest letting the whole thing download before viewing. Enjoy!
(I know I did... Still laugh everytime I see it).
