FREDERICK WILLIAM SPRINGER III

"Personal beauty is a greater recommendation than any letter of introduction."
Aristotle Apothegems, 330 B.C.

After a 4 year run (June 1999- July 25, 2003) and 5170 visitors, I've finally decided to take down the original website which focused in great part on my thoughts about my hometown and high school. It made many Perth Amboy High School students (current and past) both laugh and cry. Well, I don't know about literally crying (unless it was laughter induced) but it sure as hell pissed people off! I'm still cracking up here. Actual riots in the high school. HAHAHA.

But for the few that it annoyed, there were dozens more that enjoyed it, found it true to life (that it hadn't changed much since they were students themselves decades before my time or that it has remained the same years since I myself had graduated), and gave me support in one way or another. To them I thank you. :-)

However, being that a good portion of the administration in all Perth Amboy schools was just bought out and replaced, and the fact that I really couldn't care less about it anymore (as witty and clever as the site was), it's time to move on.

What shall remain is A PAGE ABOUT ME. Well, sort of. This was once the last page in a cute 12 page tour of "The Many Faces of Fred," a wacky look at Famous Fred's you already knew (i.e. Krueger, The Dunkin' Donuts Baker, Mr. Rogers, Prinze Jr.) which unexpectedly concluded with YOUR'S TRULY. In that vain then, this page is not to be taken TOO seriously. I know I don't! :-p

Isn't this guy hot!? He's 6'1", has blue eyes, and reddish-brown hair. Enjoys being creative--expressing himself through multiple outlets and venues--and having a good time. The best part for all you fine ladies is he's single and looking for romance. A serious relationship with a soulmate would be ideal, but he's open to fun along the way while trying to find her.

Family being important, the bachelor says with a laugh, “you know you’re old when you start looking for a ring on a girl’s finger before bothering with her." I'm looking for a single

woman who is intelligent, sarcastic, and witty. A girl who has a wild/crazy side that she will only show to me and me alone would be nice too, if you know what I mean ;-) Honesty and open communication are key too, as is closure if things don't work out. If you think you qualify, email me and, if possible, send a pic to LasperchesMiroir@yahoo.com

Who is Mrs. Springer? Whoah, that's deep. haha. Well, she's the mother of my/our children. She's my best friend and partner in crime. Other than that, who knows? Basically all the

things I'd want in a girlfriend, since one girlfriend would someday become her. She's smart enough to hold an intelligent conversation with me, but she doesn't have to be a super-smart brianiac. She's allowed to have her airhead moments. She's serious when she needs to be but down to earth/laid back more often than not.

She has goals and works to achieve them (not talking heavy duty--her goal could be to simply be a stay-at-home mom and be there for our children, and that would be completely legit).

She has to have a good sense of humor, and if it sways to the dark, morbid side, all the better. Dry and sarcastic is good too. A streak of goofiness would be welcomed as well. She is mature, drama free (at least for the most part). She's not high-maintenance/needy/clingy and doesn't want to go out everyday of the week--she enjoys time at home just as much. We'd also have enough in common to have things to share, but perhaps have some other independent passions so we don't need to be attached at the hip 24/7. Other interests she could introduce to me that I may like (or vice versa) and we'd pursue together.

Turnoffs: Habitual lateness, asking to be repeated more than once, and people that say one thing but do another/ don’t follow through.

***I'm way behind schedule. I wanted my first child to be born when I was 28, to be married for 2 years before the birth, to be engaged a year & a half before marriage, and to be going with that special someone a year & a half before getting engaged. That puts us at 23, which was 3 damn years ago!!!***

***Since none of my sites really have a page all about me, this will now be just such a page.

About me: Marketing MBA, Film BA seeking job opportunity.

Who I'd like to meet: Professionals who can point me in the right direction to find a Marketing (NOT SALES) or Film related job in NJ (NOT THE CITY) with a minimum base salary of $40k.

That's very conservative considering that, according to the Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC), M.B.A.s in 2005 who accepted job offers and have less than three years of work experience expected to earn an average annual base salary of $68,231 and a signing bonus of $12,874.

I'm also searching for a literary agent for my 82,000-word horror-thriller manuscript.

MY ONLINE PORTFOLIO: http://mbw.50megs.com Digital Photography, Graphic Design, Video Production, Web Design, Writing Samples, & Resume

And now some basics. Favorite movie genre- HORROR. (I made my own short horror/dark comedy film for my Senior Thesis which went over well, if I do say so myself, with the audiences it played for).

Music wise, I like all kinds... All kinds but rap that is (for the most part anyway). My favorite solo artist is Natalie Imbruglia while my favorite band is Smash Mouth (though I very much dislike their remake of I'm a Believer... some things should just be left alone.... just like the needless butchering of such classics as Last Kiss, The Beat Goes On, & (I Can't Get No) Satisfaction, the former destroyed by Pearl Jam & the latter two by Britney Spears).

I don't think I have a favorite song per say, but I guess the following are at the top of my list: Aerosmith's I Don't Want To Miss A Thing, The Beach Boys' Kokomo, Black-Eyed Peas' Don't Funk with my Heart, Evanescence's Bring me to Life, Fort Minor's Where'd You Go?, John Lennon's Imagine, Lustra's Scotty Doesn't Know, Paul McCartney's Live and Let Die, Moby/Gwen Stefani's South Side, Modest Mouse's Float On, Outkast's Hey Ya, & Tatu's All the Things She Said. For a song that describes me well (or used to, as I am getting older and expanding my horizons), listen to Simon and Garfunkel's I am a Rock... As you can see, I have a very diverse taste in music.

Let's see, what else? Hobby wise, other than movies and music, I like to hang out with friends, write (I've written 4 full length screenplays and a manuscript), and obviously work on my websites. I guess the correct notion to sum it all up is that I like to be creative.

Other projects I've worked on include attempting to launch BORED GAMES Brand Board Games, with our flagship Ho'nopoly: The Pimprietor Game. I also formed a production company on campus, The Devil Made Me Do It Pictures and edited our DVD, Queen FDU 2003.

Okay. That's all for now. It's enough really. If there's one thing I've learned over the years, there is way too much information about me online. HaHaHa.

I'll leave you with one more thing, a quote I like. Yet another glipse into my personality and sense of humor.

Mine is a most peacable disposition. My wishes are: a humble cottage with a thatched roof, but a good bed, good food, the freshest milk and butter, flowers before my window, and a few fine trees before my door; and if God wants to make happiness complete, he will grant me the joy of seeing some six or seven of my enemies hanging from those trees. Before their death I shall, moved in my heart, forgive them all the wrong they did me in their lifetime. One must, it is true, forgive one's enemies- but not before they have been hanged. ~Heine.

Still reading? Okay, I'll give you a tidbit you may have never guessed. During summer break 2001, I became a proud employee for THE LIMITED, INC. at a little store of theirs called Victoria's Secret. Hahaha. What started off as something much like a joke, it became a gainful work experience. LOL.
